| The Suites at Copper Creek Inn, Mount Rainier: "It's like sleeping in a museum." Two suites have been restored to preserve the history at Copper Creek Inn. The rooms are adorned with old restaurant tools and photos of early Copper Creek. Loggers who once rented these upstairs rooms left cork boot marks in the rich colored wood floors. In the 50s the rooms housed some of the staff, including Roselea the 1950s owner of Copper Creek. 1935 newspapers were found in the walls during renovation. Customers return year after year to Copper Creek Restaurant and tell us tales of the old days.
