| Jennie, still a frequent customer at Copper Creek Inn was the pie baker for almost 50 years. Most of her family has worked at the Inn at one time or another. Her son Allen and his wife Peggy managed the restaurant in the 80's. Jennie's husband did repairs and carpentry, including building the lunch counter at Copper Creek Restaurant. Her son Donnie still is employed at Copper Creek Inn as kitchen staff and general maintenance.
Call for Reservations: Lodging: Other lodging at Copper Creek Inn The Copper Creek Log Cabin: hand built in 55 for Roselea Triggs, the restaurant owner, for her personal use. It is a traditional log cabin with luxurious beds, a stone fireplace, polished log walls, views of tall firs and cedars, and the sound of Copper Creek to lull you to sleep. The cabin is set back from the road, and behind Copper Creek Inn restaurant. It is private and quiet. Frenchie's Suite: A three rooms suite is named for the 1950s baker at Copper Creek Inn, Hank "Frenchie" Canty. Two knotty pine bedrooms have lush queen beds with down comforters. Additional two can sleep on the foam roll out sofa in the living room. Roselea's suite: Named after Roselea Triggs, the 1950's owner of Copper Creek Inn, sleeps two in a queen bed. Additional children or one adult can sleep on the roll out foam sofa in the living room. |
